'Le Nouvelliste' is a daily newspaper from the canton* of Valais.
Established in 1902 in St-Maurice with its current headquarters in Sion, the newspaper publishes news from Switzerland and around the world, from sports to economics. It aims to be a the link that connects the people from Valais together. Read by more than 112'000 people, 'Le Nouvelliste' is the most printed medium in Valais.
In january, journalist Olivier Rausis took part in the famous "Sauerkraut" on the heights of Verbier. During this traditionnal event, and for his first mandate as commander of the Glacier's Patrol, colonel Daniel Jolliet gifted the organization with its first official flag.
