Unveiled to the media on May 8th, the teaser announcing the 2026 edition has captivated audiences. It could even be said to send shivers down your spine! The images of patrols at the start and during the race – during the truncated 2024 edition due to well-known weather-related reasons – especially the enchanting light trails from headlamps in the alpine night, (re)immerse us in the atmosphere of this mythical military and popular ski mountaineering event. Brigadier Sieber expressed the pleasure and honor he had in leading the event, even though 2024 proved to be one of the most complex years to orchestrate.
