With 4,386 metres of positive elevation gain over 57.5 km in high mountain terrain, with the highest point at Tête Blanche at 3,650 m above sea level, the Patrouille des Glaciers is the major ski mountaineering event. This year, more than 5,500 patrollers will set off from Zermatt and Arolla to test their limits and achieve this outstanding sporting feat!
The starts from Zermatt will take place on Tuesday 14 and Friday 17 April 2026. The races starting from Arolla will be held on Wednesday 15 and Saturday 19 April 2026.
ZERMATT

With this package, you will experience the incredible atmosphere of the patrols’ arrivals in Verbier. A unique emotion to share alongside the athletes, live from the grandstands in the finish area. You will then be able to enjoy a meal with your clients or friends in the Hospitality Area.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the races may be postponed by one day depending on weather conditions. We therefore kindly ask you to also reserve the following day when booking your invitation.
